Paste tomatoes as most people know make the best sauce because of their thick flesh and low water content. We are so proud to carry some heirloom varieties given to us by families that have grown them for generations. Although most paste tomatoes do not make good fresh eating, but upon cooking is when their flavor is released. If you want to make the best sauce possible, we recommend you grow any of our varieties and you will never buy store bought sauce again.
