You might see some vendors list this as coming from Italy, but actually it is from Cádiz, Spain. Cádiz is an ancient port city in the Andalucia region of southwestern Spain. The home of the Spanish Navy. An early-mid season variety. Beautiful, deep purple-burgundy fruits 300-500g, (1/2 -1lb). can be larger. It tolerated our heatwave very well. Meaty purple hearts. Sweet taste with a dense tomato flavor. Could be used as a sauce tomato but we preferred to eat them fresh. Very stingy with seeds, due to this we limit 1 pack per customer.
