Description

Ohio River Huge Green -10+ Organcially grown seeds

If you are a fan of GWR (Green when ripe) tomatoes, this is not to be missed.  Large beefsteak from Campbell County, Alexandria Kentucky. Originally grown by the Sutton family. J Sutton was a boatman on the Ohio River. There’s a mention of the Ellen family but I am not clear on who they are or how they are involved. Original seeds came from seed preservationist Kris Hubbard.

We found the taste more sweet than acidic. Very meaty without too much juice which makes for perfect sandwiches or salad platters.
