Rosedale GWR– 10+ Organically grown seeds

This was a happy variant that came from seed for Rosedale. A creation from breeder Bill Jeffers of Evansville, Indiana. As most know, GWR stands for Green When Ripe. It retains the green color when it’s totally ripe. We were thrilled with this one. Believe it or not, it has Cherokee Purple in it’s lineage. It has the wonderful taste of a dark purple tomato. If you closed your eyes while eating it, you would think it was a deep purple tomato, same type of flavor but a bit milder. We found it very sweet for a GWR. This will be a must grow for us every year!

Nice mid-size to large beefsteaks. Very crack and disease resistant. Big producer.   If you like the green tomatoes, this one will not disappoint.
