Hi Lauren & Awesomesauce Gang! 😃
Green, gutsy, and packed with personality—Jackass Green isn’t here to blend in. This dwarf variety produces medium-sized beefsteak tomatoes that stay green when ripe, glowing with golden undertones and bursting with bold, tangy-sweet flavor. If you’ve never tried a green-when-ripe tomato, this one will win you over in a single slice.
Despite its wild name, Jackass Green is easy to grow and happy in containers or raised beds. It’s part of the Dwarf Tomato Project lineup, growing to a manageable 3–4 feet tall but delivering a seriously satisfying harvest. The fruits are dense, juicy, and perfect for slicing, stacking, or showing off.
