Rosa de Zarautz-10+seeds
The old fishing village of Zarautz is located on the Cantabrian Sea Coast in the the North of Spain. This is a very old heirloom Basque variety. As many of you know we try and offer many unusual and rare Basque tomatoes and peppers. The fruits of the tomato are a light pink, heart shaped, conical with a lot of flesh and very thin skinned. The taste is sweet and concentrated. Very aromatic. It is a late variety but very productive and disease resistant. Perfect sauce tomato. Low seed count. We hope to see this one more circulated for preservation reasons but it is also just a great tomato!!!
