We found this variety when a customer raved about it and said it was the best cherry they’ve ever eaten. Of course we had to grow it ourselves and find out.
Many vendors list Russia as the country of origin but it actually hails from Poland. Koralik is a polish word that translates to “bead”.
It is a very early producing bush habit. It has such a good resistance to blight and potato disease that it was featured on BBC’s Gardeners World. Exceptionally sweet, bright red cherries that ripen in clusters. Very good selection if you want early tomatoes that don’t need staked or caged or have a short growing season.
We loved it. The first ripe tomato of the season. We ate them in salads all summer. Picture perfect and sweet.
