Yes, there are white tomatoes. They remain a white to pale yellow color when ripe. Of all the tomato colors they are the most mild and usually go well with seafood dishes or for people that do not like a strong tomato flavor. We like to grow them to mix in tomato salad making a visual masterpiece. Jack White is one variety we favor from breeder Alan Bishop. If you’ve never grown a white tomato don’t miss out.
