We received these seeds from Jim and Imelda Bacon of Calgary,Canada.
They received the seed from a friend whose Russian grandmother grew them. A monster of a tomato. Easily reaches 1.5 lbs. Massive potato leaf plant that produces from mid to late season non stop. If you are a traditional, red beefsteak tomato eater, your tomato has found you. Perfect example of everything a beefsteak should be. There is nothing negative to report about this one. only highest of praise. Easily would be in the top 5 of my favorite reds.
Thick, meaty slices with a clean, fresh old world taste. This tomato embodies every good thing an heirloom should be. Picture perfect, very crack resistant.
